DETAILED SEATING PLANS

NZ Fashion Week: Kahuria

Satellite was engaged by New Zealand Fashion Week to help deliver a state-of-the-art event. Our involvement spanned design, development and activation services and involved coordinating with NZFW organisers, a diverse array of designers, buyers, media, VIPs, crew and volunteers; all coming together to bring the event to life. All designers were able to allocate seats to their guests and NZFW delegates in their portal. We developed an easy-to-use seating allocator to add, remove and move around guests to their shows. Seating was communicated to delegates and guests via their mobisite where they accessed their digital ticket.

large event experiences

Fieldays

Satellite Tag underpins the entire digital infrastructure for New Zealand’s largest event, National Fieldays. With 130,000 visitors over a 4 day period, hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of staff and crew on site Satellite Tag provides the full ticketing solution, Health and Safety onboarding, vehicle access and transport management as well as customised exhibitor activations and lead generation. All visitors are given an NFC wristband which allows them to interact the exhibitors on site and provides rich data for the event and the exhibiting partners.

live interactive experiences

Spark

Our long-standing partnership with New Zealand Telco Spark has seen us launch a vast number of engaging digital live experiences. To promote their launch of 5G and celebrate the Americas Cup and their sponsorship of Team New Zealand, the interactive RaceZone was created in Downtown Auckland. Tag allowed visitors to the experience to book their visiting slot and then engage with interactives such as Build A Boat. Content such as AR photo capture with the America’s Cup itself as well as with the team members was saved to a personalised mobile site with the ability to share. The experience was consistently booked out with tens of thousands of race fans and tourists.

Bespoke experiences

All Blacks Experience

Satellite developed a number of engaging interactive experiences for visitors to get a deeper insight into rugby in New Zealand and what it takes to become an All Black.

Using wristbands with RFID tags, visitors register their details and scan their wristbands throughout the experience so their activity and scores can be tracked and used later in customising collectible content and merchandise.

engaging promotions

Coca-Cola

With a relationship spanning 20 years, Satellite has launched hundreds of engaging promotional experiences across NZ and Australian markets. The multi award winning Powerade Challenge sees runners run a 9k course in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. Their time is started once they tag their NFC wristband onto a customised vending machine, a data feed integrates with a digital billboard mid-course to display runner progress and on completion a Powerade is redeemable from the vending machine.

b2b virtual events

Telstra Vantage

The seventh annual Telstra Vantage event took place in October 2020. Due to the prevalence of Covid, Telstra Vantage RE/MIXED was created as a completely online virtual experience, compared to the usual live tour.

Tasked with being an immersive, connected, and informative event it had to be as engaging as any preceding physical event. Whilst also being a platform with capability to maintain new and existing B2B relationships between tech specialists and their sponsors and vendors.

innovative digital retail

Giltrap

Satellite worked with Giltrap Group to provide an omnichannel experience to introduce, connect and convert prospective new customers to purchase from their extensive car range. We helped create an onsite immersive activation situated inside Westfield Newmarket to execute these deliverables. The design of the technology and the experience allows Giltrap to refresh the space every 6 or so weeks with a new brand of car. The experience provides an exciting consumer engagement point whilst elegantly collecting leads and data.

Digital and physical eventS

TRENZ

As the most significant international business-to business travel trade event on New Zealand’s tourism events calendar, TRENZ brings together New Zealand tourism operators (sellers) with targeted international travel and tourism buyers, and media from New Zealand’s key established and emerging tourism markets. The event directly helps to grow New Zealand’s tourism industry. TRENZ Connect, underpinned by Tag event management is the new platform for New Zealand’s tourism industry to connect with the international marketplace. Online, anytime, anywhere.

immersive storytelling

MOTAT

As part of a burgeoning partnership with MOTAT, Satellite was asked to help enhance their brand new Aviation Hall exhibition through digital storytelling that would immerse visitors using the capability of today’s touchscreen tech.

We were tasked with creating an interactive digital environment that provided multiple layers of rich media content and engagement to extend discovery beyond the impressive physical form of the actual planes in the exhibition.

The Tag live experience platform has been used across other multiple other interactive exhibitions at MOTAT.

future foward education

Monash

Monash University in Melbourne Australia needed a seamless, secure, flexible and robust exam solution for 80,000 students over a 3 week exam period, 4 times a year. The Tag event management solution allowed the University Administrators to assign every student to an exam session over multiple sites and times. Tag then managed the access control for the exam, building, time and date. High levels of reporting ensured accuracy, accountability and data was available 24/7 over the exam period.

world class virtual diplomacy

APEC 2021

Thanks to the COVID-19 Pandemic, The New Zealand Government made the decision to host APEC in 2021 entirely virtually. This was an unprecedented challenge, both with the timeframes available and the fact APEC had never been hosted for a full calendar year in this fashion. By the end of November 2021 over 3000 meetings had successfully been held via the Tag online registration system and the integration with the virtual meeting platform. The project enhanced New Zealand’s reputation as a digital leader, by delivering robust, stable, fit for purpose platforms to conduct the business of APEC without disruption from COVID-19.

Bespoke retail experiences

Fisher & Paykel

Fisher & Paykel needed an exciting and beautiful way to showcase all of their products, in partner stores and their own Experience Centres - without needing the floor space for hundreds of appliances.

Satellite’s DSM (Digital Signage Manager) allows Fisher & Paykel to manage and showcase all of their products in every store, worldwide from one cloud based system. We created applications that allow Fisher & Paykel customers to browse the full catalogue of available products, life size in store and in-situ. The applications run on a number of different screens including an 84” touch screen allowing the user to experience the full size of the product in 4K resolution.

Design a yacht experience

Ahead of the 36th America’s Cup in Auckland, the New Zealand Maritime Museum embarked on a project to enhance the visitor experience within the Blue Water Black Magic exhibit by introducing relevant new content, delivering new interactive and media methods and refreshing the displays. Satellite was tasked with refreshing the “design a yacht” interactive, modernising the experience to deepen the relevance of the exhibition. Utilising the creative territory of a blueprint visitors are able to design, customise and then race their own yacht.
